About the Missing Piece
The Missing Piece is the result of our love of collecting "stuff" and not having enough room to keep it. The THRILL OF THE HUNT is our main drive, so what do you do after you've hunted it down? You offer it to others who are also "hunting"!! You make room for different "stuff".
My half of The Missing Piece was a professional customer service person for 14 years in the healthcare field. The rats were winning the race and the kids looked like they were having a lot more fun than I was. So, we decided to make a business out of what we liked best, finding "stuff"! I retired from corporate life to settle into a much more pleasant routine. My true love is Vintage Homer Laughlin decorated dinnerware, and I love old paper dolls and kitchen stuff, too.
The other half of The Missing Piece is a professional. Someday, we'll both be able to do this full time. His specialties are Comic Books, Sports Memorabilia, Action Figures, Toys, and he has a good eye for weird collectibles.
